REFEREED CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS
In
2004, CLESOL first offered refereed proceedings of the conference.
We are
pleased to continue this new tradition, and again offer published
referred
proceedings for CLESOL 2006.
How Does It Work?
If you are interested in publishing the paper you are going to present
at CLESOL 2006, please advise us in the submission of your abstract
or the tick box when you submit your abstract online. If your paper
is selected for the conference programme, you will be contacted to
confirm your interest and further information will be forwarded to
you detailing the timeline of the process. A CD of the entire published
proceedings will be produced, which can be purchased after the conference
and you will be able to add a line to your CV detailing the publication.
What Happens Next?
After you submit your paper, it will be distributed to at least one
peer reviewer. Reviewers are solicited by the CLESOL committee, and
as published authors themselves they are prepared to review your
paper from an academic standpoint. Once your paper has been reviewed,
it will be returned to you with recommended changes for editing.
After you have edited the paper, you will be asked to resubmit it
for publication. This is standard professional journal publication
procedure.
I’ve Never Published - Should I Consider Submitting a Paper?
Remember that CLESOL is your conference, and this is an excellent
opportunity for professional development. We encourage first time
presenters and submitters to prepare a paper for publication! When
you submit your abstract, you can also choose to be paired with a
mentor who can advise you with your paper.
I Want to Review
If you have previously published a paper, you may be interested in
being part of the peer review process. If so, please advise us on
your abstract submission so that the committee can contact you or
email your interest to: conference@paardekooper.co.nz.
