GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS
Close off date for all Grant and Subsidy applications: 31 July 2008!
There are a number of grants and subsidies to assist your participation in CLESOL 2008 (by application only). Note: Delegates may receive subsidy support from only ONE of the funding sources available.
The committee for the 2008 CLESOL conference is offering assistance to New Zealand registered teachers. This assistance comes in the form of payment for all or part of the Very Early Bird registration fee. This is open to residents or citizens of New Zealand only. No assistance can be given to overseas residents. NOTE: This does not apply to the Community Language registration fee of $55.00 as this is already subsidised.
Applicants must find someone to act as a referee for their registration. This person should be able to confirm that the applicant does not have access to sufficient professional development funding. The referee might be someone you work with, but should not be a family member. If you are eligible and wish to register please complete the Grant Application section on the Registration Form and return it to the conference organisers, Paardekooper & Associates, by 31 July 2008.
We will let you know if you are successful no later than 8 August 2008. If successful, you must pay your part of the registration fee by 15 August 2008 otherwise the grant/sponsorship will be withdrawn.
