The conference venue, International Pacific College (IPC), is an NZQA-accredited tertiary institution offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and diplomas in international relations, business, English and Japanese to around 400 students from 24 countries. The IPC gardens are renowned locally, as is the nearby Massey University campus. IPC hosts an annual Sakura (cherry blossom) festival for the Palmerston North community and, as CLESOL 2012 will take place in spring, there may still be some cherry blossoms on the trees.

Special accommodation rates are available for conference participants at the hotels listed below.
The special rates are only available through the online registration system which will be available in May. You can book accommodation when registering for the conference, however the cost of accommodation is not included in the conference registration fees.
The room rates below include GST of 15%. Your credit card details are required to secure your reservation. You are not required to pay a deposit, you can pay the full amount of your stay when you check out. Please note: If choosing to stay at IPC Halls, payment is required at the time of registration.
Delegates are responsible for paying the full cost of their stay. This includes room charges, breakfasts, minibars, internet in your room and any other additional costs charged to delegate room accounts.

In order to confirm your booking request, the full amount of your accommodation needs to be paid by Friday, 31 August 2012. The cost of your accommodation at IPC Halls will be added to your registration invoice.
The accommodation is single rooms with shared bathroom facilities. Rooms will include one set of fresh linen, bedding and pillow (you will need to bring your own towels and toiletries).
The Halls are located on site at IPC, the conference venue.
